Amelia Barnes, Life and Relationship Coach
My path is one of continued learning, transformation and personal and spiritual growth. I believe in the old adage “you can’t take a client where you have not gone.” As I have become more in alignment with my authentic self, I am happier, more confident and comfortable in being myself and connecting with others. As a coach, I can do the same for you.
My “work” is full of playfulness and laughter. As a Life and Relationship Coach, I use cutting-edge whole brain/whole body methods that allow for ease of quick personal growth and transformation. I love empowering people to be themselves, to trust their inner wisdom, and to create positive outcomes in all areas of their lives.
I love helping people shine. My most successful Life and Relationship coaching clients have a willingness to believe in themselves and a desire to create what they most want – even if they have no idea what that might be as they walk in my door.
In many ways I feel that I have been doing this work, as a Life Coach, since I was four. Ever since I can remember people have trusted me and told me their ideas, their dreams and their stories. The aha moment finally came when I was standing in line with my then two small children at Burger King while yet another person was telling me her story, a story of loss and pain and hope of lost dreams and hope for a better future. Later my quite insightful children added that people were always stopping to tell me their stories. Although I had tried to deny these gifts I had come into the world to hear others stories and empower them to discover a better life and create what they most wanted in life.
Creative people often don’t feel like that fit in and this may be why I so resonate with and understand the creative mind. I always felt like I thought differently like I see the world differently from others. Being both right and left brained, the practical and the creative, I often see connections where others do not or opportunities where others see closed doors. I see value in others even when they have given up believing in themselves. I love the creative mind.
My greatest testimonial came from my youngest daughter. “ You let each of us be ourselves.” My children are now happy confident young adults pursuing their own dreams. This is also that I want for you, no matter what your age, to be yourself, to shine, to be comfortable in your own skin and to love the life you are living.
