You’ve hit a bump in the road. You feel stuck not sure what to do next. You know you’ll get through it but in the moment it feels overwhelming and just way too much. You may be struggling with a career change, the start of the business, or problems with a relationship. Or you may be over are you may be realizing that the old way you approach life as a people pleaser and a perfectionist is no longer working for you and the way that you’d like. So what do you do now?
There is a common thread that runs through all my clients, there is a willingness to move on, to not stay stuck with that bump in the road but to embrace it. Willingness is incredibly powerful. Use that willingness as fuel to jumpstart them to create the next chapter of their life in a way that is just right for them.
Who are you and what do you want?
It does not matter where you are right now. You are complete, whole and okay just as you are. What you might be missing is a life coach to assist you in gaining clarity in who you are. Depending on the bump in the road, your views, your wants and desires or what gives your life meaning and purpose may have changed. Who are you now and what do you want?
Sometimes you have to ride over the bumps in the road to avoid running off a cliff. Other times you may have to fall into the potholes to avoid hitting the trees. Some days you have to experience the wrong turns, to recognize the right ones. There is no better navigation system than bad experiences in life so that we can recalculate our lives through better choices to reach our intended destination. Eugene Nathaniel Butler
What do you want to create in the next chapter of you life?
Believe it or not, from this moment on, your life is a blank slate. Whatever you do now or tomorrow or next year is up to you. Yes, you may feel you have issues or consequences hanging over you from past actions or relationships but what you choose to do about them and where you choose to go is totally 100% up to you.
Time to Take Action
Even with the best intentions and the best plan, unless you take action to move you forward you will still be at that bump in the road. How would you feel six months or a year from now if you are still feeling stuck and where you are now. Action doesn’t have to scary and it doesn’t have to huge. Taking small measurable action every day can move mountains. Create Big Change with Bite Size Steps. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare. You don’t need to be the hare. The tortoise won with a slow a steady pace. That can be you. You can win. You can create the next chapter of your life in a way that is just right for you. I know. I’ve helped hundreds of people get there. You can too.
